Check Your Three Contacts
Find each of your three contacts. Check that the names and phone numbers are correct. Add an email address if you have it. If you make a correction, remember to press Save.
Before Class 4
Practice at your own pace. If you get stuck, make a note of where you stopped and bring your question next week.
Arrange a Practice Call
Ask someone you know to call you for practice. Try answering once while your phone is locked and once while it is unlocked. Follow the words and arrows on your screen.
During the call, try Speakerphone and Mute. Turn Mute off so the other person can hear you again. Finish by pressing End Call.
Exchange a Text
Send a short message to someone you know. Check the recipient and your words before pressing Send. Read their reply, then answer in that same conversation.
Optional: Repeat the Web Practice
Practice Phone Skills and Phone Words as often as you like. There is no timer.
Bring a Charged Phone and a Photo
For Class 4, bring a charged phone and have one photo on it that you are comfortable sharing. An existing photo is fine.
We will learn the sharing steps together in Class 4.
Bring your questions. If a step does not work or your screen looks different, note where you stopped. We can work through it in class.
